Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although initially dated with an unpleasant odor in a corner, were eventually upgraded and very clean. The service was a bit inconsistent with some staff being friendly and others not so much. The location was perfect for our activities, close to attractions and with easy access to the waterpark. The dining experience was enjoyable with good food, but pricing seemed a bit high. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
I found the rooms to be very disappointing, not living up to the price paid for one night stay. They were never properly cleaned, and the lack of natural light and uncomfortable bedding made the experience quite unpleasant. The service, on the other hand, was a mix of rudeness and sweetness. While some staff members blamed mistakes on bookings, others went above and beyond to make my son's birthday special. I was impressed by the awesome location, close to all the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill without the noise. The dining experience was a hit or miss, with incorrect charges and some confusion with included meals. Overall, a mediocre experience due to the room conditions and inconsistent service.
The hotel room faced a courtyard, which was a lovely spot to relax, but unfortunately, there was misleading information about the waterpark. However, having complimentary bottled water in the room was a nice touch during the stay.
The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to various attractions. The rooms were not top-tier but still left us very satisfied. The service was exceptionally friendly, especially considering the playful antics of my kids. The location is fantastic, right next to the Water Park and Casino, and within walking distance to most attractions at the Falls. The dining experience, while limited, was adequate for a quick meal before exploring, and the facilities offered were decent.
The hotel's location is fantastic, near everything, but unfortunately, the rooms were really small and outdated, not that clean, and plagued by loud septic and pipe sounds as well as an overly noisy air conditioner.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were definitely not worth the high price, especially with small children around causing disturbance. The lack of windows and issues with the fridge made it less enjoyable. On the positive side, the service was professional and friendly, but there were inconsistencies in cleaning standards. The location was great for our needs but was marred by noise issues. The dining was decent, though the lack of knowledge from the front desk was a drawback.
The hotel rooms were comfortable and the location was good, offering a cigar-like atmosphere, but there was a slight issue with cleanliness reminiscent of a dirty diaper. The view overlooked closed courtyards, which added to the ambiance. The service was subpar, coming off as rude and unhelpful, especially in the hall. There was a missed opportunity to provide better guidance on cash management for guests, contrasting with other hotel businesses. Additionally, discovering forgotten items behind the curtain raised doubts about thorough housekeeping. However, a welcome drink was a nice gesture. The location, though congested and detracting from the overall experience, was still accessible to various places, including a few waterparks. Not recommending Perkins for dining was a drawback, coupled with persistent exit door alarms going off multiple times, causing disruption. Facilities were adequate but lacked standout features.
